Finance
The Mendota Finance Department is charged with tracking and managing the resources of the City of Mendota. They handle the process of tracking funds coming into the City, and the funds expended providing the various services that the City provides. Two of the main tools for the Finance Department, and the City overall, is the annual budget, which states what revenues and expenditures we expect for the next fiscal year, and our audited financial statements, which is an outside accounting firm that declares what funds we received and spent the last fiscal year, and shows to residents if there are any questionable practices in the way that the City has handled the funds.
